Note From the Pastor's Desk

I would like to take this time to say thank you to the Covington Central Church family for extending the invitation to Sherry and myself  to come and serve along side you as your new ministry team leaders. We are looking forward to getting to know each and everyone of you in a personal way, as well as the opportunity to have the awesome privilege of working together with you to build the kingdom in the Covington area.
God has great plans in store for His church, and it will take all of us working together, hand in hand, and side by side, to accomplish his plan in the most effective way. As we start our journey together, my prayer is that we will pray together, worship together, learn together, grow together, and become the family that God desire for us to be.
There are three things that I want to share with you as we begin our time together:

1. Let's get excited together about what God has already accomplished at Central church of the Nazarene, and give Him thanks for all of the blessings he has given over the past several years.

2. Let's look forward with anticipation to what God wants to accomplish in the future as we work together, serving him, and being used in the way he desires to use us.

3. Let's get ready to take back the ground that has been lost for the kingdom.

Dr. Larry Dennis says, "God has a unique plan for His unique church in its unique location."
Today. let me remind you that God is great, and greatly to be praised for all the great  things he has and is going to do. As a church let's join hands together and get ready to grow as a people, a family, and a Kingdom.
Jeremiah 29:11-12, reminds us of a great promise. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."
We look forward to starting our time together on January 12th, and come with anticipation that God is going to receive all the praise and glory he deserves as we work together for him.
Let me take this time to wish each and everyone a Blessed Christmas, a the start to a Happy New Year.

In His Service
Pastor Terry
